Moved to phpBB forum, as not directly ModphpBB3 related man128 is right, you only use image tags for images in jpg, gif, png, etc linking to offsite. The Flash is for linking to flash files, but if it is a website that runs videos you will need to create/or find out the code, and add it as a BBcode...

What's the problem with the gallery, is it not just an issue you need to set on gallery permissions?

Nope, but have seen this before.

Delete everything but the .htaccess file in /cache directory, and make sure permissions are 777

The version of ModphpBB3 1.0.3 beta looks to be released next week. Donator's that have sent donations to pay server costs for this site, should receive the latest zip file this Saturday morning to give it some beta testing, so will get first use of this version. Hmm, I think I know what you are talking about. I always use Highslide on boards, it opens on an overlay window. In fact, it's going to be on the next ModphpBB3 cause I think its superb!

Loz, it would depend on how fussy you were with it. Users on dial up would definitely notice slower loading on pages, broadband connections you wouldn't really notice too much if at all. It would also depend on how big the animated avatars are. Say someone took a long 40 second clip and turned it in...
