Re: Help^^^^^^^^^^^^
You open a database via your hosting control panel, you will need to ask your hosting company how to do that if you are unsure. To run this or any other forum, you will need access to one Mysql database. Hit import, in that newly created free database via phpmyadmin function, and select the modded.s...

Re: SQL file
It's a community support forum, a forum for users to share help and info on ModphpBB and phpBB. Directing users to your own non-phpBB related forum probably for paid help isn't a form of spamming to you?
If you have help or info to share, please do here.

Re: Latest ModphpBB3 Beta 1.0.3 question?
It's only beta because some of the mods are but yet its so far safe for live use.
I have been informed of a bug in the later version that will be sorted next time, and the fix posted. It's not anything that should exploit any files at the moment either.

Re: Modphpbb3 styles
Depending on what the style is based on (prosilver or subsilver) you need to add the files to the template folder (Arcade, Gallery and any files that are currently in the modphpbb3 template) then you need winmerge or suchlike to compare the files that were already in the style, so look at the change...

Re: SQL file
It either won't work, or you won't be able to use any of the mods installed. The modded sql is the database entries for all the mods to run.

*Important* Update your phpBB version for ModphpBB3
For those that are running the new ModphpBB3 1.0.3 Beta, you must go and update your phpBB version from 3.0.2 RC1 to 3.0.2 stable release. This was released by phpBB tonight. The auto updater works a treat, as have done it on about 5 so far. There is one file that needs merging which is viewonline.p...

Re: SQL file
Your forum wouldn't have any posts without that sql and an active database.
If you mean you have phpbb3, and want to know if overwriting the files and running that modded.sql will overwrite the standard forum, yes it will.

Open index_body.html in your template (do both or others if you have them and are used)
Find (near the bottom):
Then move that to the top (in a suitable area of the file)
Remember to delete the one at the bottom after.

Have you done all that listed above? Checked all the settings, purged the cache, refreshed templates, deleted cookies on index, and cleared cache?

Helllo there. After cookie pate is it just a / Don't add anything after that. Also make sure it isn't the full domain with a www before and just a full stop before the domain within cookie settings. Also see Script path: The path where phpBB is located relative to the domain name, e.g. /phpBB3 in th...

I'd say both.
The top error is a serious mess.
The arcade errors could be where using newer files inc updates, but the database is needs updating.

Re: Upgrade modphpbb 1.0.2 to 1.0.3
It looks unrepairable. You would have needed to edit the files via winmerge or similar, then ran the extra queries within database. 1.0.2 to 1.0.3 is a huge jump as it is running phpbb 3.0.2RC1 on the later version, and that's not including the portal you mention. The only way of doing it now would ...
