I originally stripped the search box out of the header as there seemed little point when there was a search box in the portal...however, what I now think may be a good idea for my site is to have the jumpbox in the header, where the search used to be.

I did try moving the jumpbox block to the right column, and encountered a problem that may also get in the way of having it in the header, and that is of the input box width. Is there anywhere where the width of that box can be changed to about the same as the search box is, so that it will fit into the space in the header that is available for it?
