I noticed on the pronight theme, if a picture is posted that is wider than the post area (i don't know forum technical terms), the picture will be cut off as the post area will not widen automatically, and also a scroll bar will not even appear.

How do I make it so it will widen automatically and/or with a scroll bar when a wide picture is posted?

That's not actually related to the style and more so the size of the attachments/images you have set in acp.

Try making images settings smaller and adding 'highslide' mod or something similar. If you go to one of the Avatar topics here and click a Screenshot image, you will see what I mean.
