Welcome PM "Messege is to Long"

Hello,

I currently installed modphpbb3 forum latest on my site, and Im configuring my settings in AdminCP,
Im writing my Welcome PM on first logon and it tells me:

Code: Select all

The entered value for the setting “Message” is too long. The maximal allowed length is 255.

My question is,
Is there a way to bypass the limit, because its not nearly enough space for what I would like to write.
