Updating Email on accounts MX Error

Hi new install of your premodded forum logged in as admins and edited the other user account for my use however i can not edit the email account it keeps telling me

Warning
The entered e-mail domain has no valid MX record.
any ideas guys?

what kind of email account is it? it might not be recognized by phpbb!

I use Gmail for my email account but it has also been created problems for some of my staff to register i have had to use admin approval and "Fool" the system to create the needed accounts
(sorry for delays in posting i am still on the moderation que
but hope i should be off that soon
)
