Hi MOdphpbb3 team, I am new to Modphpbb3, first of all great job, but had a few questions before we started using it..

I see the mood mod installed on this board, does modphpbb3 have that feature for us ?

Is there any such Rep points mod that has like Thumbs up and Down like the Vbullitin bord rep system ?

I like how this board looks do we get all the mods installed on this board if we use modphpbb3 ?

And lastly Whats the latest of all the mods modphpbb3 comes with? I saw a olderlist but that was 2 years old..

I think this is the latest list, and you can either have the portal or non portal version. The board uses a karma system which is similer to rep point

Hey, Thanks SpiderPig ... then what about this mood thinggy on the board ? ( look under my username since it wont let me post images)


And Can we turn off various mods and stuff if we dont use them? Eg. If I Install the Portal Version can I Later turn off the portal too ?

and where do we see the latest version demo in action?

No the latest version dosent include the mood feature but if you ask ldm im sure he will direct you to where you can download it and install it yourself,

The latest version has simple karma microlabart, which is sort of the same rep thing you mean. I haven't updated the demo board for ModphpBB3 latest version yet, for now the last version is on there, but will update it later today if I get time.

Thanks LDM, I'll just wait for your new demo and then install / upgrade to modphpbb3 and install the mood mod myself then..

by the way, bro could you please put all those mood mod images used on this board and put it up on a zip file so we can use them on our boards, its going to take us a long time downloading them one by one.?

The Portal Demo is now updated to the latest version. Look up the top, click Demo and click Portal Version.

I got those moods images when I had a Vbulletin License sometime back and they were posted in vb.org forum. I don't think you can reg or access there without a valid license but could be totally wrong about that.

That's where they came from anyway and seem to recall them made by someone called Shelly (who designs a lot of the graphics and stuff within downloads there)

I can't really pack them up and pass them on to be honest mate, as I am sure it is against some kind of rule for redistribution. I'm sure they must be available somewhere else if you cannot get access to vb.org.

a few last questions,

how do we get that cool twiter, youtube, facebook etc social networking sites logo link pop up below our profile? is it some kind of mod thats included or we have to install? any name for it, (sorry, I have done some Google and so far its zero for me)

and about the random images that appear on the forums header? what code did you use? I have used the rotate,php script before but looks to me like your using some type of improved code resulting in very smooth transaction. Can we have the code / instructions for the random images thing ? (I know we have to upload the headers images in a folder and all the stuff, just need the basic code)

lastly, would you care to share what other mods your have in this version of the modphpbb3 board? so that We can install some of those mods to make our board as good as yours?
