New Theme, existing mods help!

Post by trooper1975 » Tue Oct 20, 2009 5:02 pm

Hi all,

So i've got a new style., and i'm trying to get the mods into this new style. I've managed to get Ajax Chat onto the bottom of the forum where i wanted it, but now i need help with things like the gallery and arcade and whos last online etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Mark

well if you check into template inheritance explained in phpbb.com, you would only have to edit some files, including overall_header.html, overall_footer.html, the theme and imageset files!

Trooper i would suggest you get a freeware program called ConTEXT and another one called winMerge. WinMerge will let you compare like files for changes and that will let you even add the differences from one to the other as well. That way you get to know exactly what each change does. What version of modphpbb3 are you running ?
