Re: phpBB3 to ModphpBB3 1.0.5 Conversion Instructions
Ok, well I've had some problems (I'm using the portal version of 1.0.5). Up to step five is fine... then once I get to step five, there are none of those folders in what I downloaded. There is also not add_bots.php file. Step 6, I have a file called modded.sql, but no file called upgrade.sql, so I imported the one that I had. Step 7 was fine, but then when I get to step 8 the real problem happens. When I try to purge the cache (or just log onto the forum board) it takes me to the login page. It seems that somewhere along the way, all of the user accounts, posts, settings etc have been deleted. I can restore my old forum, and that works fine, but I have tried this process several times and I get the same result - user accounts, posts, and settings deleted. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, it could be something fairly obvious, but I would appreciate any help I can get, as I would prefer not to have to just clean install ModphpBB3 and thus have none of the accounts, posts and settings for me to have to set up again. If you need to have a look at the board, it is at though I may try some more things to get it to work, so it may not be in the clean state if you check.
Thanks, Sam.

Hello Sam
It sounds like you have just used the normal zip file in downloads. There was actually a converter zip on the first post here, but with help of a phpBB bug on attachments it has now disappeared from the topic.
I will try to get hold of the zip files again as not too sure if I still have them on the HD.

Hey guys
Assuming this file isn't available, any ideas what I can do because I can't just re-start the forum because we currently have over 4500 posts and 64 members
I would really like to use this and I don't have the technical skill to add the mods myself

I get the sam eif I try to go to the forum index
thankfully this is not my main forum as I decided that I wanted my admin team to have a play around with it before we opened it out to the general membership

This happened to me before, did you remove the arcade's install directory first?
