User Login/register

Hi, I want that when a user visits my forum he needs to log-in or register in order to see the board, does anyone knows how to do that? thanks in advance.

well you can't make anyone register on your site, but you can also not let them see the forums by going to the groups permissions tab in the ACP, and setting it so that guests cannot view forums!

i tried it but it is not good to see empty board for visitors.

no it's not, but there are mods in phphbb.com that will hide stuff from visitors on post, that way the forums are there but they can't see the content!
