Hey guys, come across another problem, except this time it's to do with the avatars. Every time i go to assign an image to my avatar, it tells me this; ' The upload was rejected because the uploaded file was identified as a possible attack vector.'

How do i fix this issue?

Cheers,

Troops

i attempted to use several pictures from 'My Pictures' folder on C:.

I tried using GIF, JPEG, PNG, but all returned the same error.

It's the first I've heard of this error, and have just tested another forum where it seems to upload okay.

I have seen the exact same error on a post in phpbb.com. Chance are maybe one of the files is corrupt, so maybe try uploading the files again. If it still happens, it could be the database. Keep us posted on this, as I may need to look at version 1.0.4 again.

Ok, here's what i've found with this problem. If i take the includes/functions.php file from a standard PHPBB 3.0.2 download, and ftp it up to the installation folder, the error is gone and avatars can be uploaded. But the gallery section appears to be gone as although the link is there, it logs me out when i try to access it.

You need to set permissions on the folder avatars/upload

Seems like this one is NOT resolved in the current incarnation of the portal modphpbb3

I tried chmod'ing images/avatars/upload folder - no dice

i tried disabling the .htaccess file within - nope

only thing I haven't tried is a total reinstall of the code.
