When the config file is right I just get a blank screen
when it wrong I get an error message

and make sure you have the settings correct on the config.php, i know you said you did but any little mistake will give you errors!

Hey here's an interesting thought... I currently have the most up to date version of phpBB3 3.05 http://www.fansonlyforum.com up and running. Can I just migrate the modphpBB3 forum with my existing forum? Maybe by doing a "Skip All" function when ftp'ing the files? I just want to have the arcade and other features that this board has on my existing forum. Thanks for all you do.

the majority of the times you have to put localhost, but get with your host, because on some of them you have to change that to what the host has it set up as!


as for the other question, if you don't have any mods installed in the working forum you could do that, but you will have to make sure you merge the databases, the one from the moddedphpbb3 package and the working one, other wise you will have a lot of errors. make sure you backup everything prior to doing it!

There use to be an upgrader from vanilla phpBB to ModphpBB3 but that has now gone I'm afraid.

Hey is there anyway to install just the arcade into my current pronight version? Or do I pretty much need to download the modphpBB3 forum to accomplish this? I tried uploading the modded.sql into my existing database, but it killed the whole site so I restored my backup.

Hi guys

sorry I have been kind of tied up recently,

I need to do a bit more testing but I think I have managed to crack it!

what I did was I installed PHPBB3 as a standard installation saved the config file and then I uploaded modphpbb3 files, replaced the config file uploaded the sql stuff and it works!!!!!!!
