Will the Auto Install Mod work with Modphpbb3?

I noticed their was a tool on the phpbb3 site that auto installs mods. Will that work with modphpbb3? My last site died and so I am adding it to my new site.

Have never been a fan of Automod, so don't know too much about it. Try it on a test board, but my guessing would be, that on a forum with a lot of mods already on there, it would get confused easier than normal.
