With apologies to members, someone (using 3 different names) joined up today to send out spam emails through the board on anyone with their email address public within their profiles!

They were advertising paid phpBB styles and work (which looked a complete rip-off price) within their mails.

To stop this happening again, I urge you to go to Your UCP click on Board preferences, and make sure you check your "Users can contact me by e-mail:" to No and then submit at the bottom.

If you are running a phpBB forum with styles, mods, etc make sure you blacklist this IP

I have to say out of curiosity I took a look at the site and the so called portfolio
bot of which were awful think they wasted there own time and money as no one would pay out for what they claim to offer

I took the easy option as they came back again (twice) and just turned off email usage accross the forum.

Sorry to those that got emails. As you saw and as mentioned above by tris, their portfolio was shite anyway.
