yep thats the one i used,

the forum was phpbb3, its a weird one, we went from mybb->smf->phpbb3, wether that has anything todo with?

Yea I mean there is occasionally a cookie issue when swapping phpBB3 with those install instrucs but is sorted once cookies are deleted.

The config in phpmyadmin looks okay, but not too sure what to suggest as it was converted through a few forum platforms. If the cookies were okay on the phpBB3 it seems very strange it does it now after converting using ModphpBB3 unless the admin issue occured during phpBB3 too.

you all was good before, it hadnt occured to me before the conversions may have effected, just out of interest, if we started from scratch, with a bog standard phpbb3 then uploaded our database (before attempting modphpbb3 conversion) would that work then go through the modphpbb3 conversion?

If phpBB3 runs fine, it will convert easily for ModphpBB3, it only replaces the files with edited files and you run the modifications sql queries.
