Severity Problem during download attachments

Hi guys,
i have a very big problem with my phpbb3 with download of attachments.
all of this, after migrating web site from a old hosting (under Windows) to a new hosting (under Linux).
it seems that migration phase had result with corrupted attachment. However, if I open files downloading it with FileZilla from new hosting and renaming, it work perfectly and files open correctly.
If I download files by its own post, download goes correctly but when I open, the program that is opening, says "The file may be corrupted".
every kind of file, image, pdf, word ,excel, everything.
why?
does anyone have a trick or solution or something else to resolve? I accept magic solution, too!
