prosilver edit?

ok you see how on this forum the background is white then sites bg is black, how can i do that with prosilver? like it will be few parts that are right then spaces that show the other backgrounds color, its right in prosilver se, but i cant run that due to mod problems, sorry if i didnt explain what im asking well.
